Our Japan ski conference will be held at the Hilton Niseko; the powder capital of Hokkaido.

Niseko is situated near Mt Yōtei and is an easy transfer 100km southwest of Sapporo and the New-Chitose International Airport.

The ski resort of Niseko united is comprised of 4 interlinked resorts – Grand Hirafu, Hanazono, Niseko Village and Annupuri. It is renowned for its consistency and quality of powder snow throughout the winter. Averaging over 15m of snow each season, Niseko is famous for its wide-open powder bowls and tree runs.

With its rich variety of terrain and beautiful winter woods, Niseko offers an unforgettable experience for all levels of skier/snowborder.

Our 2021 conference will focus on high-end musculoskeletal ultrasound of the Upper Limb and is open to all health care professionals.

WHO CAN ATTEND

The conference program is targeted to Radiologists, Sonographers and Sports Medicine doctors with an interest in MSK ultrasound imaging.  Other professionals that are welcomed to attend and could gain significant insight into MSK imaging would include radiographers, pain and rehabilitation physicians, physiotherapists and any other medical professional with an interest in this field.

CONFERENCE STRUCTURE

To allow delegates to learn in their own individual way, the conference will be uniquely structured to allow you to make best use of your time whilst providing a quality educational experience.

The conference will consist of daily online lecture material and case studies to be completed in the morning at a time and place that is convenient to you! Following this the afternoon après-ski live scanning sessions will run at the Hilton Niseko Village daily using GE Logiq E10 systems. During the didactic après-ski live scanning sessions presenters will demonstrate anatomy and scanning techniques of the specified body region all in a relaxed environment with complementary drinks and canapés.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

The registration fee for this 4-day conference is $795 which includes 1.5 hours of complementary beer, wine, soft drinks and canapés during the daily après-ski live scanning sessions.

CPD POINTS

RANZCR and ASAR CPD points are available for attendance of this conference with 16 hours of conference content equating to 16 CPD points.

Shoulder extended examination- pec major and minor and their insertions, SCJ, triceps long head, latissimus dorsi, nerves around the shoulder.

Brachial Plexus – Roots, cords, main branches of interest.

Median nerve – proximal anatomy (supracondylar process, pronator, sublime arch), carpal tunnel, anterior interosseous nerve, palmar cutaneous branch, recurrent motor branch.

Ulnar nerve – cubital tunnel, Guyons canal, dorsal cutaneous branch.

Radial Nerve – posterior cutaneous nerve of forearm, superficial radial nerve, deep radial nerve, posterior interosseous nerve. Musculocutaneous nerve and lateral antecubital cutaneous nerve. Medial cutaneous nerve of the forearm.

Hand – Thenar and hypothenar muscles, digital nerves, MCP joint, PIP joints, DIP joints, collateral ligaments, palmar plates, flexor and extensor apparatus of the fingers.
